Humor is about networking. Since I’ve got MacBook every time I’m very surprised, how easy to get working network sharing between Mac-Windows, Windows-Windows scenario asks for more effort.
Well, do you know how Mac OS is showing Windows computer as neighbor, look
It’s kinda of legacy CRT monitor with some error displayed.
Mac OS computer in the network shares face, it looks completely different.
Nice.
However, there supposed to be one bug ! Shall we report it to Apple ?
When you want to connect to remote computer manually,
Finder —> Go —> Connect to Server
Windows PC folder is displayed with nice Apple Cinema display

))) When we bought Macbook in other store in Baltic data we saw huge, giant Apple Cinema Display : 30
Heh, Apple Cinema Display, unfortunately it is too expensive
i would point out that in Leopard they finaly made it more easily to connect to NFS shares over network, as MacOSX natively support NFS, in tiger it was close to impossible task and it hanged all the time, since there was no normal mount umount available. So in Leopard – you just set up wher your NFS share must be mounted, you can easily add advanced options etc. so Linux to Mac is easy too ( fast, secure, reliable) what i cannot say about windows-windows or windows-mac configurations.

Linux – Mac should be more reliable, than my case.
I do not have to much practice for Linux-Mac, and less practice for NFS shares.
