I call it commercial bullsh*t !
Here are some details, so if you are big fun of this performer,
your fan target just asking some money from you to meet with her.
So, just pay to me 400$ and you will get the opportunity to meet me.
Photo meeting, damn it !
I thought that usually bands and performers are doing photo sessions for fan-club members, for fans participated in raffle, etc.
But not in the way like that $$$. On one hand there is nothing bad in such practice, if you want additional $$$ let’s create some entertainment for users, but it immediately crosses the line for you as musician, it is brightly showing that music for you just way to get more cache, not art 
everyone will want to go if it’s free

but you can think about the raffle or the stuff like that (as artist),
if I’m not mistaken Rammstein was doing raffle for the fans.
Metallica meets invalids in Tallinn, etc.
But not just cash the money (200 Ls) from your fans.
So, if you are fan from the beginnings (real fan), yes great opportunity to cash your favorite performer

IMHO this practice really does suck because in some ways it is a step closer to prostitution. Perhaps you could also have a price list for spending an evening with Avril with specific sums for everything that you could do with this idol of yours
Aha, this is also the point about that.
However on the other side, I hope that it is not trick from company, that is organizing event (probably this girl/woman is not aware of the things like that),
but if it is from her pricelist, then it sucks !
